Firewire Machadocado Surfboard
Designed by Rob Machado, the Machadocado blends the easy wave-catching and speed of a fish with the control and responsiveness of a shortboard. Its wider outline and generous volume make it especially effective in small, weaker surf, while the thinned-out squash tail keeps it composed when the waves have more shape and power.
The board is designed to generate speed quickly and carry momentum through flatter sections, with enough hold to surf more aggressively when conditions improve. Its three-fin box setup allows it to be ridden as a twin, twin + trailer or thruster depending on the feel you want.
